Baby Shower Cupcakes

I received an order for baby shower cupcakes for a baby boy. We decided on using a "tiffany blue" colour pallette, so the design came out to be blue gerbera daisies with white centres on both the regular and mini sized cupcakes.

Three "special" cupcakes were also created for the top tier of the cupcake tower. Two were baby shower inspired with a baby bottle and bib, and the third was a yellow sunflower for a guest celebrating their birthday.

The flavours were vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream.

New and Exciting Information!

My apologies for not posting anything recently, I have been extremely busy with school and trying to promote the company further, however this month I have some exciting projects I will be sharing with you.

So stay tuned because this month I have a bratz cake, baby shower cupcakes, a full halloween dessert bar, and I entered a cupcake competition this coming weekend.

I should have some pictures posted throughout the week showcasing some of the projects I have lined up this week.

Pizza Party Cake

This birthday cake was created for a little girl's pizza party this weekend. The cake flavour was lemon with vanilla buttercream and decorations included a fondant pizza with white chocolate "cheese", and a fondant fork and knife wrapped in a checkered fondant napkin.

Thomas the Tank Engine Cake

This cake was created for a 3 year old's birthday who absolutely loves anything to do with Thomas. The cake flavour was a tuxedo cake with vanilla buttercream and was decorated with train tracks and a handmade fondant Thomas the tank.

Pleated Roses Cake

This cake was created for a 50th birthday and was a two tier tuxedo cake with pleating, embossing, pearls and pink roses.

Ipod Cake

This cake was created for a 25th birthday of a girl who loves celine dion (almost as much as me) and whos favourite colour was red. To incorporate the two things I created a red ipod playing celine dion.

The flavours included vanilla cake with fererro rocher filling and vanilla buttercream.

Textbook Cake

It's been a while since I posted any cakes because I've been getting into the familiar routine of school the past couple weeks. However, I am back and have four cakes to share with you today.

This first one was created for a going away party of a girl attending her second year of law school. The cake was two colourful textbooks and their flavours included vanilla cake with fererro rocher filling.
