After being a teacher for too many years to count, my mom is finally retiring, and to celebrate I created cakes for each of the three teachers retiring this year.
The first, a suitcase travel cake. The flavours included vanilla and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.
The second, a soccer cake for a soccer fanatic. The flavours were chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.
And finally for my mom, a cake that reflects her and her avid couch sitting and book reading. The flavour was lemon cake with vanilla buttercream.

Good to know about this retirement party. Few months ago, I arranged my dad’s retirement party at an amazing Chicago event space. Did all the arrangements for this party and invited all my family and friends. Had great time there.
